When the storm breaks, each man acts in accordance with his own nature. Some are dumb with terror, some flee, some hide, and some spread their wings like eagles and soar on the wind. -Elizabeth: The Golden Age

My favorite quote was told to me in college: "I'm so optimistic, I could go after Moby Dick in a rowboat and bring the tartar sauce with me!" When things get rough, I like to visualize a tiny, little boy with big eyes rowing on the open sea, a giant tub of tartar sauce next to him, waiting to take on whatever challenge awaits him over the next swell.
